The hinged splice trays clip together to form a stack, where every tray is individually accessible. A 180 degree hinge opening, removable cover, with a securing pin, is provided on the top tray. Each tray can open about 135 degrees and be removed from the stack. Each tray can typically hold two splice holder clips (Part No: TC250S-12), allowing the tray to be used for single circuits or for 2 x 12 = 24 splices, protected by metal wafer type splice protectors (Part No: 111x05) available separately. The splice trays are used in fibre termination activities. Shown is a splice tray set and a cover (Part No: TC254-5AX). Similarly, four splice trays and a cover are (Part No: TC254-4AX); eight splice trays and a cover are (Part No: TC254-8AX); one splice tray and a cover are (Part No: TC254-1AX), etc.
